Gold mobilization

Indians hold gold very close to their hearts, and as such, mobilization of idle gold is going to be a non-starter. No body is prepared to part with the extra gold ring, chain, bangles, etc. as most of the Indians consider such gold as part of their being. Gold is also considered to be the thing one can fallback in times of crisis. Further, with the government resorting to such unjustified and imprudent measures as Demonitisation, people may not be inclined to believe the government with gold deposits.

Yeah right. After the disastrous failure of Demonetisation who would trust the Government with their hard earned Gold and Other assets. Never Ever will this happen. Tomorrow the Govt might also confiscate the Gold such deposited. Beware
