Why are all Indian godmen such molesters, looters, thugs & conmen? They also attract political patronage leaving the hapless follower in the lurch only to be sponged upon.

Ramdev is there long before Modi. And he faced tough times during UPA times. Still he survived. So it's just not political support.

What kind of political support, can you explain? Ramdev baba do not need any politicians. It is the other way..politicians might need him.
It isn't fair to compare Baba Ramdev with the decadent Gurmeet fellow.
The politicians have to explain, they can't and they won't, why they could not take a suo moto action. If we construct one extension to a balcony, you have municipal fellows raiding and squeezing you, but the stuff in Sirsa that the guy built and alleged relationships with his mooh-boli beti - how can one ever tolerate that ?!
I'm surprised Vir Sanghvi shows such confusion, again just to pad up for his political favorites. People must know similar acts of decadence by the Louis whatever..led to the French revolution. We lynch wrong people for the wrong reasons, just to distract attention of the powerless masses following these politicians and trolls like zombies

So, how can you win elections without getting votes? Associating with a popular person is not a crime. Who knowns allegations are politically motivated. How can you discard a popular person just because there are allegations against him or her. There are allegations against each and every popular yogi or swamy. Should we ignore all of them?
if asaduddin/akbar owaisi, shabuddin, madani, osama"ji" were yester india's symptoms, then i should say ramdev is a sign of improved symptom of todays india.

Factually inquiry in this case was ordered by Hon`ble Punjab & Haryana high court in yr 2006 & convicted by CBI judge on 25/8/17 .
