Glorious to be rich even in spurious earnings
by R ponnabalam on Oct 17, 2017 12:39 PM

“And in a society, which is otherwise fairly religious, moralistic and considered itself ethical, this was one area where evasion was the rule”..Is it considered or it has to be “consider itself.”How fairly moralistic we are when we practice casteism in so many ways . Indirectly it says ”Indian society is mammon worshipers; it is glorious to be rich said Chairman Deng .India goes further It is glorious to be rich even in spurious earnings .In our society when it comes to Money exploitation is the rule.WE HAD INVENTED A WORD “BLUE COLLAR CRIME “TO PERPECTUATE IT TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE POOR MAN to whom the benefits of due compliance could have or might have percolated down ,That was the ladder India set up for corruption in Administration , knowingly . Then fighting corruption eradicationg it etc are theatre. The F.M.should tell how the MPLADFS in India has fared. Each one is authorized to permit spending of Rs.5 corers& for some 350 ,it comes toRs.17500 crores per for 10years.has it produced as much benefits as that investment in Steel Plant or machinery manufacturing unit might have produced. The money is substantial R.PONNAMBALAM

GovtMaadharChodhs not satisfied with 7th Pay Comn, want 20% more

GovtMaadharChodhs not satisfied with 7th Pay Comn, want 20% more

Nowadays a peon or junior asst in gov gets Rs 30,000, a gov lecturer gets Rs 1.5lak, a teacher 50K. Modi gov claims they are collecting a lot of taxes nowadays thru GST, income tax, etc. What all these collections for? To pay salaries to GovtMaadharChodhs who are good-for-nothing fellows?

I appreciate, Modi's initiatives on several fronts, but he is unable check the salaries of GovtMaadharChodhs.

Gov officials are laggards who do little work, they work hard only when there is scope for corruption, otherwise they eat paan and spit on the walls, play cards for 2 hrs when lunch time is only 1 hr, talk nonsense for hours, and so on.

Only defense people should be paid high salaries, and salaries of all the GovtMaadharChodhs should be reduced.

Govt is collecting taxes from the 97% hardworking people in the pvt sector, to pay exorbitantly high salaries to 3% GovtMaadharChodhs.

In pvt companies, corruption is only at the top, 97% employees have to work hard, but in govt companies 99% are corrupt and / or laggard fellows.

Govt should stop revising the salaries of the GovtMaadharChodhs in future and divert that excess money for improving primary education, family planning incentives, and spreading English language among poor. Gov criminals should be paid only market average salaries.

In villages poor farmer are committing suicides. They need training how to manage finances, family planning, English education, etc

Tax evasion
by virender on Oct 17, 2017 11:17 AM

It may be true Mr FM tax evasion is a rule in our country. But is it not a fact that like in the past even now only genuine tax payers are sufferers at the hands of officials in tax collecting departments, whether it be Direct Tax or Commercial Tax department. Can you afford to carry out a survey and comparison of cases of persons whose cases have been taken up out of persons who paid taxes and those who evaded taxes, the results would indicate that majority of sufferers to be from former category. Besides, have you any idea that public servants who are supposed to bring improvements and guide the public in right directions are the major culprits in guiding people, how to evade taxes. In order to ensure that tax regime is strictly followed below mentioned steps are need of the hor;
i. transfer of benefits improvement in increase in government revenue to the bulk number of tax payer who are small trader with annual turnover not exceeding fifty lakh and the sallary/ pension earners with annual income not exceeding twelve lakh. It may be noted that income of persons falling under these categories, now a days, is hardly sufficient to meet both end meet.
ii. Implementing agencies of tax collecting departments need be tightened. They are still working under old system of 'Frangi Raj'. The need to be told to work as public servants. If the word servant seems harsh it may be replaced by word guide. The shall have to instill the attitude of helping the public rather harassing

pretend that this govt is intent on curbing tax evasion, please also inform us when your PM will stop shielding the biggest tax evaders of the country like Gautam Adani !

In just one P note round tripping act from Mauritius, Adani laundered Rs 5468 crores of his corporate profits - much more than what is laundered by thousands of tax evaders over their entire lifetimes !

And when 3 upright officers of the ED/DRI catch Adani in the act and file a case with incriminating evidences, what does your PM, Narendra Modi, do ?

Well, he first sends the CBI to file a case of disproportionate assets against those officers and when months of intense investigations and ransacking in their homes and offices do not yield even a shred of evidence for such disproportionate assets, he has the finance ministry transfer them out of Ahmedabad long before their 3 year tenure ends !

Tax evasion, indeed is a rule ! And when tax evasion is truly gigantic, the tax evaders are protected by the PM himself !

TAXES IN INDIA
by sudhir dave on Oct 16, 2017 07:48 PM

AJ talks as POLITICIAN and not as FM. If he would have used different language. According to him if all will pay tax honestly, than there wan't be corruption, violence, accidents, improper management entire infrastructure including health, education, transport, improper management of flood, drought, movement for reservation, asking for waiving of loan, 10 lakh Crore NPA of bank etc.Wonderful idea. But when he will be in opposition he would use different words.MR AJ people are not fool. You are taking advantage of big holes of our constitution.
