Time for a little secular pragmatism
by NG Nileshwar on Oct 17, 2017 08:31 AM

Exaggerated promises can lead to faster disillusionment. Modi has performed better than his predecessors but the tall promises that he made during his election speeches could bring down his image of an innovator to nought. Sinha is a disgruntled element of the BJP. But not all that he has pointed out is wrong. Modi has to introspect and it is high time he does it. A meteoric rise can also degrade into a steep fall.
Expectations have bee raised and now their results are not to be seen.
How so ever smart the moves may be, they have to produce results.
DeMo was a step in the right direction but Modi's assessment was proved wrong.
GST was again a step in the right direction but he was not pro-active.
The adamancy of not scrapping or reducing income tax after raising expectations to do so is counter-productive.
Black money being unearthed has remained in the realms of bureaucratic delays.
India is not short of laws, the question is about their implementation. Modi may work 18 hours a day, but it is results that matter.
After a landslide win in UP, the acceleration in the economy was required to be speeded up with faster decisions. But their stagnation killed the momentum.
I would not like to loose a strong leader with a 56" chest and I do not see any one else on the horizon who could be as bold as Modi.

sinha bigger than WB and IMF?
by yahoo on Oct 16, 2017 09:54 PM

So, yashwant sinha's comments are more correct than both world bank and the IMF? Both of them have said this is a short blip due to GST. But looks like the opposition wants the economy to be bad so that they can blame modi for it.

This is just irresponsible journalism.

1. Government has shown all round progress
2.The economy is soon to revert back to its high trajectory as visualized by BJP government
3. Government has been transparent and has performed without scams leading that had led to wrongful gain to Congress.
4.Indian people while are high quality have habit to live in Tamas and are yet not able to accept that Government is not involved in Black money and it has kept its scams hidden or not letting them come out

5. Congress has started using third degree and abusive words against PM and the government prior to elections as they had done before in 2004,2009, Sonia Ji had said : Atal Behari Ghaddar Hai)
6 BJP/NDA has to prevent repeat of cycles like
"INDIA SHINING". A very careful and all pervasive operational lan mat be prepares

Banning cow slaughter is resaon for unemployment? The writer is most eligible for Nobel Prize for Economy. Such loose comments not only propogate fake news but also exposes vacuum in thinking. Forget pseudo secularists we should be more worried about pseudo intellectuals.
