By next year, they economy will be 'normal', as claimed. But BJP will be hammering for another year till the 2019 elections. Very strange.

Will take 2-3 years to stabilize. Notebandi - people forgoten but take time to convert black into white. GST-FM has framed it fully legal - further correction will have to be brought, even implementing Babus in govt. will take 1-2 years time to adopt it. This will take another 2 years time. By that time FM will take Modi Head and will be main cause of his defeat in 2019.

Its time for everyone to pay Tax, Not just the Income Tax Payers. The Rate set in GST should be lowered, but GST should remain. Soon, Income Tax needs to be removed and only GST should remain as the principle source of revenue for Govt. Guys remember, it is your local state govt (even Cong ruled states) is responsible for GST.

Govt runs thru tax from people. Your own state is the reason why the GST is high. They did not want to reduce the rates and hence center has no way but to go with 4 slabs. Remember initially it all started with around 17% tax for all items except Food items.
Let us be told which economy will be back to normal?Poor Man's Economy or Rich man's economy.If the Economy will be Normal in 2 to3 quarters it it telling that 8 Lakh crores of NON PERFORMING ASSET of the country will be recovered and ploughed into Economy to boost industrial actvity thereby reducing or avoiding imports R.PONNAMBALAM

Are you says Poor man should not pay tax? Why is he special. Is he poor because of the rich or because of his/her incapability? Who is stopping the poor to earn more. He is just plain out lazy. For person who has not made any good attempt to educate himself and only played around and skipped school is now reaping the outcome.
Now.. Rich is always going to be rich. You know why, he has money to invest and double it. poor will take time to improve as he has no money to invest in anything to improve his life. Add to that, they waste money on drinking and gambling. The only way out for an uneducated poor is work crazy hard. Sorry , but there is no way out. Even then he is not going to narrow the Rich-Poor gap, as rich will continue investing in new ventures and make more money. So stop talking about this Rich getting Richer and poor getting poorer.

1. The exercise of demonetization is expected even during the previous regime where barring Manmohan, all are crooks in the cabinet, and all happily went out unscathed. All the illgotten wealth is in the form of cash (higher denomination in lockers), gold, landed propertyies. So far only minor portion has been touched. Now the benami properties / unaccounted properties are to be located and to be auctioned. Gold needs greater scrutiny to identify the culprits. 2. Regarding GST, the introduction a bit hurry but the bell has to be hung to curtail tax evasion from middle and small enterprises which run into few thousand crores per year and and add with benami property linkage, will result in billions of revenue to Govt. to implement housing to poor and very poor sections in all cast / religion, specially in rogue states like UP and Bihar.

until next 2 /3 quarters, those who affected should not take their normal foods; no medicines; no payment of fees towards education of children; no electricity bill payment; no payment of water bill; no payment of train/bus tickets, etc. etc. etc.
