Aping the West but without the Resources toMatch

Going electric as far transport is concerned is an idiotic dream for India which is unable to produce enough electricity to meet even 30% of its demand currently. Where are we going to get the extra huge demand that charging of vehicles will place on the grid?

What is good or possible for the Western world is not necessarily a practical proposition for us. We should not rush into it without the required resources.

In any case, we need fuel to run the electric generators and the overall pollution for the earth does not come down by using electricity at one place and generating it elsewhere.

seems this electrification will be much faster than 2030.

An expansive pan India planning for refill has to come up where batteries can be exchanged as swiftly as the change of mobile batteries.

In an era of a 7G speed it would be far from common sense to wait for say one hour to get electrical refuel.

Robots can replace a fully charged battery in a jiffy for a small fee.
