Why restaurants have not slashed prices post GST rate cut

Some Questions to NRAI..
1. As per Tax departments maximum Tax credits claimed by few restaurants were 5% and that too was on the higher side as per Govt. It means majority of the restaurants were claiming Tax credit less than 5 %.
2. How NRAI can say that earlier Restaurants were getting Tax credit of the tune of 12-13 %.?
3. Was there any TAX credit facility to restaurants prior to July 2017 ( pre GST period) means during the VAT regine.
4. If no, then if they were profitable before July 2017 with the Base price on 14th Nov, 2017, then how they can increase their price now.
5. It is a clear loot by all restaurants and gutting the Rs. 13000/- crore tax rebate which otherwise is meant for consumers.

Suggest that Government should take stern action against those restaurants who have not passed on the GST cut benefit to consumers. In fact almost 100% restaurants have not passed the benefit to consumer.
If Government cannot take action, then they should not claim the GST rate CUT benefit to common man in their FULL page advertisements in Print and electronic media.

of avoiding restaurants. If we keep complaining, there will be no choice but to pay the bill politely.
