IN THE LATEST MEETING HELD ON 10TH NOV.2017 HAVE THEY DECIDED ANYTHING ABOUT ABOLISHING THE GST ON [POSTAGE STAMPS, FIRST DAY COVERS, NUMISMATICS(COINS)ETC
Namaste FMji. Reducing GST will not reduce the price as you think. These dealers/suppliers/restaurants/sellers and sticking on the MRP which set earlier. The benefit and profit goes to the manufacturer/dealer/retailer by paying lesser GST rate: Please investigate the matter with your finance team and other commercial tax officials whether they have reduced the price or not. But frankly the sellers profit is increased by reducing the GST. Nothing is benefited to the end user. The oppositions or the present government is thinking the benefit goes to the end user. But it is not. This I am writing because I have experienced and fought and nothing happened.
