“a price being paid for recapitalising the government's banks” To non financial sector people it is this:.”This is the price being paid for RBI winking eyes for so long before some two and a half years when the banks were fudging balance sheets and no one was questioning why the wealth distribution, despite the constitution mandating equitability by a constitution amendment in it was not there and why some where given loans to the tune of Rs.44000crores,a highly unequitable distribution. ” raise the level of government ownership in banks, instead of bringing it down.”Who has the ownership in banks? How many loan giving Pvt. Companies have unrecovered loans? Why only banks have it?All Govt. entities are authority owned and responsibility disowned. What responsibility the TOP bank had shown when unrecovered loan was going up year after year”.” he had talked of bringing down government shareholding in banks to 33%.>” What he had done to bring down the unrecovered bank loan during his tenure. If one had been a P.M. after having been the Governor of Reserve bank he would have known the ins and outs of unrecovered loans in bank(if memory doesn’t fail one reserve bank Governor -name,I remember , I do not quote- said as I read in newspaper that the banks are the non performing assets)and he would have taken actions to remedy the situation. I think India did not have anyone becoming P.M. after having worked as a gover

Governance

A lot of if and but are put up by govt. unable to understand whom they are punishing. So far none of the politician is barred for politics, and none of the criminal and corrupt is hanged.

Everything is okay in the murky wasters of politics.

Expecting a politician to fulfil every promise is imprudent.

When there is talk of minimum governance it means maximum doses of umpalatan;e surups.

why were so many promises actually fulfilled by earlier governments then? were they unwise? But, how prudent is it now to swallow every bombastic bluff just because it is wrapped in a lot of animated, regaling speech? how wise it is to keep on see just one name and just one photo of one person a hundred times a day, and keep mum without saying a word as if in a hypnotic spell?

maximum governance with maximum promises in indefinite future times, maximum clerical work for citizens, maximum spending on religious projects and activities of one particular faith with conspicuous neglect or rejection of all all others, maximum disruption of well established systems and discipline, maximum concentration of power, maximum tightening of some rules for providing maximum scope for bribery and corruption, while at the same time maximum replay of the bad things and corruption done by Congress just like pre-2014 times !!!

Less Government and more Governance is what he said...
by MS Vasan on Nov 09, 2017 11:38 AM

Modi has implemented few Less Government concepts
1.No attestation required by notary-self attestation ok.
This has released crores of citizens from wasting their money, time and effort-what is more importatnt, it has given respect to honest citizens.
2.In many schemes, for example in Income tax, Modi has said "No direct interaction with officers-only thru internet".
This has eliminated the bribing tendancy both on the part of citizens and officers..
3.Many schemes are now DBT thru bank avoiding physical contact with Govt servants thus avoiding bribe, waste of time and waste of resources.
4.Faith in citizens unless proven otherwise,
unlike doubt the citizens concept for the last 70 years...
