Chappels on the wrong foot.

Completely mixed up message from the Chappells. When a project goes thru all due diligence and is in fact cleared by the environmental agencies of Australia and also has that Govt's backing, how can it then affect cricket ties ? This is no monkey gate.

The activists are entitled to their view but then they must fight it out with their own agencies and Courts. In India as an example, some coal mine projects have not been given the clearance . Chappell and Co must be able to convince their own countrymen instead of throwing out threats.

I have no love or affection towards Adani. In fact I am for any that fights against industrialists that damage environment. Having said that, Chappells are short sighted - If Adani is doing mining in Australia it is after approval from the local government. First, get it resolved with your government instead of threating Adani. Shameless creature - neither good at cricketing brains nor in civic sense.

doubt if they would have taken the same stand !
i think their such reaction is due to the fact that they think they can bully the Indians(esp since ,large Indian diaspora is in australia)
They should be protesting in the supreme/apex court of Australia.
Although, understand the need for clean energy, but the arm twisting threat has not got down well.
