they make up more than 12 % of the US population and despite the strongly policed, strongly regulated and civil rights armed society they live in, Afro Americans (blacks) still face and endure entrenched raxcist hostility from the white community in general.
Given this scenario, Indian Americans, making up just about 1 % of the US population, cant hope that the revulsion and contempt white Americans in general have for them will go away for real anytime in the future.
The best they can hope for is a state of status quo (which was prevailing till Trump became president) where the policies of the govt do not encourage anyone to venture into overt raxcist attacks.
