That this psyche is very much with big Industrial houses is a pitiable state of affairs, with each one them floating hundreds of trusts under 80G and other tax avoiding loopholes in tax laws. Govt. itself is not sincere by putting various exemptions which have not done any good, except government of the day using such to fudge the balance sheets. Why not abolish direct taxes and recover the deficit from indirect taxes?

oye, how much more indirect tax will they collect ?

did u even read the article. 98% ppl who have taxable income are paying. the balance are being traced and will be traced based on their annual expenses
