Make in India......
by Dattaprasad Prabhu on Mar 02, 2017 10:23 AM

Most of Indian defence import business was aimed at bagging 20% commission through intermediaries which was landing in the overseas coffers (meant for fighting elections) of ruling political party. This money was then re-routed through "HAVALA" racketeers to homeland. That is why close relatives of prominent political "Families" are seen as defence material agents. This was reflected in open passiveness or complete disregard of the govt. wrt starting indigenous production of defence material. Hope that "Make in India" movement will shatter that evil cycle.

JSHL Vice Chairman says "The hard work and perseverance of 10 years of JSHL with the Ministry of Defence have culminated in a fantastic result for the country in line with the Prime Minister's vision of Make in India." It's difficult to believe how a ten year old effort can be part of a PM's vision when the PM himself came on the scene only in 2014. THis must surely have been someone else's vision. Why not give him / her the credit ? All kudos to the JIndal- DRDO team tho for a great job.

May be if Prime minister did't motivate the industry with make in india initiative they could have prolonged it to another Ten yers just like other DRDO projects
