worry about future
by Vattem Krishnan on Jun 29, 2017 07:17 PM

India Inc have lot many expectations about growth and development after bold move now in GST and earlier demonitisation with a slogan of making India with hyper activity of modi ji and his followers.
The country has not gained much big till now and finds no direction despite blind faith of people give BJP and Narendra Modi stunning gains where ver his party contested.Probably this may turn out to be a stumbling block for Govt in action as in such a big country electin promises are difficult to iplement.Govt clearly lacks initiative and is thoughtless.

Manmohan the Congress superchor
by rakesh mehrotra on Jun 29, 2017 03:44 PM

Manmohan criticized Demonization because all the ill gotten gains of his Malkin from 50 years of Congress rule were wiped out. He has not criticized corruption in which he was a past master so who takes that zombie seriously??

and that is why Gujarat is a progressive state while no one wants to start anything in Bengal which is a broke and backward state. Any people that can vote the communists to power for 30 years must hang their heads in shame Bengalis are lazy, arrogant and think they are superior but move around with a begging bowl as they generate no revenue of their own.

India Inc & their silence.
by Vinay on Jun 29, 2017 07:27 AM  | Hide replies

The author has failed to tell us that the RBI directive to banks on NPA has really scared the India INC. The are the biggest borrowers & responsible for the NPAs in the PSU banks. They have been manupulating the finances & siphoning out the bank loans for private use. This has been arrested to some extent. This is really pinching the India INC.

History repeating itself
by Manohar Rao on Jun 28, 2017 09:47 PM  | Hide replies

BJP takes bold steps whenever it is in the Governance, which fail in the short term but reap big rewards in the long term. The Congress does not have such guts but due to short term troubles, the BJP gets ousted and Congress comes back to power and claims the fruits of the trees sown by BJP. this time too the BJP government will loose general election because of demonetization and GST and Congress will win the election and it will reap the benefits of demonetization and GST and and act as if the success is because of them.
This has become a norm now, once the reforms brought by BJP becomes old Congress will start loosing again because they do not have the guts to bring reforms, they have only learned how to loot.
As per my personal opinion demonetization has brought more hardships to common public and GST has failed in several countries and nobody can guarantee that it will work in India which is too diversified.
Instead of such sweeping reforms, the Government should work on creating jobs, improving infrastructure, bring sweeping changes in education system (we are still following british education system, who themselves moved on adopted modern skilled based education system). Shun reservations at all levels with immediate effect. There are only two classes affordable and non-affordable classes, help those who can not afford to study, who can not afford medical treatments, who can not afford a decent house and so on.
The Govt should concentrate on such reforms.

BJP /Modi will not take bold decision on : 1. Stopping reservation for grossly qualitatively undeserving for selection, whether education, jobs or allotment of facilities at the cost of hardworking common man. 2. Article 370 in J&K.

Government is working on all fronts and the people can see it. Congress is not coming to power in 2019 mainly because they have an Italian Nanni missing PAPPU who heads the congress party. The biggest threat to congress would be some congress wala telling Sonia that her son is mentally retarded but no one in congress has the guts which is great news for the BJP.
