Modi and company are fooling everyone with their GST propaganda. All they have done is renamed the previous taxes and increased them.
28% tax is unbelievably high, we small businessmen are working are A$$ off to pay modiji Rupees 30 out of every 100 that we earn. That's a totally BS deal

achievements of india
by namakhalaalmulla on Jun 26, 2017 02:15 PM  | Hide replies

India has achieved the following things in the last 25yrs as per my observation.
1) More number of third class citizens are generated. These people doesn't have basic civic sense. They spit, urinate and making the country into garbage. These contributions are from all sections, irrespective of caste, class, religion, education, etc.
2)Now, our country has 60%poor(who doesn't have bank account, house, basic civic amenities and are leaving with daily wages basis. These peope have no future). 30% middle and upper middle class(Struggling for existence and avoiding to become poor) and only 10% rich(these people have all facilities, enjoying without doing any work at the expense of others life and creating more wealth by increasing more poor people)
3)Country is directionless. Nobody knows where we need to take the nation.
Remember, today Mercedes,BMW,AUDI etc all these cars each worth 1.5 to 5.0crores are coming on road to 10% rich people. One such car is creating 1000 poor people. So as these numbers increase the poor people will also increase. And remember new induction of poor people are coming from middle class. The day is not far where we end up in the situation of pornistan where they have only two class.
85% poor vs 15% rich. May be if we continue in the same economic policies, india will reach this situation in next 10yrs.

baniya will eliminate from market
by namakhalaalmulla on Jun 26, 2017 02:04 PM

Yes, small scale desi baniya companies will shut down. They will be overtaken by multinational. Tell me what social welfare these baniya people have done to the country except siphoning crores of rupees outside country thru' hawala. Do we need baniya's in our country? what is their contribution to society?

WHY DID HE NOT BRING PETROL AND DIESEL IN GST REGIME.?
AT PRESENT WE PAY TAXES OF ABOUT 56% ON PETROL AND DIESEL, THAT WOULD COME DOWN TO 28% IF IT IS TAKEN INTO THE GST REGIME. BUT THE LOOTERS ARE BENT UPON MAKING LIFE A TORTURE BY THE BJP GOVT

The tax on Petrol goes to government and not individual pockets. Whats wrong if infrastructure is created at the cost of people spending on fuel?

Where is Elon Musk
by Inzzy on Jun 26, 2017 07:14 AM  | Hide replies

American CEO's are extremely wise people. They are not going to invest in a country where the popular narrative is divisive food & cows and where deep social unrest in on the rise. GST is no game changer in the short run rather it will be a harrowing time for small traders & businessmen. The big guns will survive as they have the deep pockets to get their act together to tackle software glitches, tax authorities & all. Once GST is stabilized which may take anywhere upto 2 or even 3 years & if things are moving in the right direction then they might think of investing. But the question to be asked is where is Elon Musk? He appeared keen on investing in India & even posed questions on Twitter but he is not to be seen anywhere. Maybe he has realized that India is hardly the place to do business despite market size. Sensible & rational fellow.

It's funny how you single out the absence of Elon Musk of Twitter. But FYI, Twitter, as a company, has never made any profit since its inception. Yes, not a single dime in profit.

So the answer to your question is, Twitter is fighting the battle to survive and don't have funds to expand as the investors are pulling out from the company.
