Demonatisation
by Prakash Bedekar on Nov 09, 2017 10:38 PM

Whatever the concequences our Hon PM will never utter a word of regret about the fiasco of demonetisation, this is because neither he or his ministers or BJP netas were found standing in long que for exchange of banned currency.

Demonetisation : Unprecedented Success Of Citizen-Govt.Initiative
by rishi on Aug 31, 2017 05:48 PM  | Hide replies

....the positive impact of demonetisation is visible in the extent of negative comments here bringing out the reality of many Indians who got conditioned to easy life of easy money and are now unable to cope with the challenges of the New-India Environment in the making with NDA's courageous endeavour towards a long-due financial-disciplining of the Nation which was grossly neglected by the earlier regime. The current Finance Minister has shown unprecedented creativity in simplifying the financial regime of the Nation aimed at honesty, transparency and 'economic productivity' of all Indians. Millions of aspiring and ambitious young and women have caught on the imagination of the Govt. and have increasingly adopted digital transactions as their chief mode of economic-life. As a result of demonetisation, the digital economy is increasingly expanding while the parallel economy is facing its due closure ......it is the right direction for any progressive Nation to adopt. And there is no case for delaying the process of further strengthening the digitisation process which has been effective in scores of govt. welfare schemes reaching out to crores of people across our villages and small towns.....AADAHR, Jandhan BANK Accounts, LPG connections to the poor, etc., are some of the successes of NDA in the short period of three years it has been in governance.

BTT would have been better
by Niranjan Gandhi on Aug 31, 2017 05:46 PM

Banking Transaction Tax seems to be an ideal solution to Government's IT collection woes. It would also get rid of the massive IT Departments which have been given free hand to keep indiscriminately sending demand notices - justifiably or otherwise. The tax realisation with such notices is 25% or so. But the harassment to honest tax payers is enormous. This is particularly so since they send notices pertaining to a few years past.

BTT would resolve this problem for ever as well as improve tax collection amounts.

Rediff Mischieveous Once Again.....Compulsive Anti-BJP Posts
by rishi on Aug 31, 2017 04:48 PM

Nothing new that reddy rants about.....he is simply awestruck by the chaiwala's brilliant command over Indian economy....better than all these obsolete economists devoid of "realism". a quality that even a high-schooler from our villages and small towns is endowed with.....and so is the chaiwala doing brisk business of governance.....being a gujju, a billion-plus well-wishers of the Nation have greater faith in his ability to make success of a "bankrupt business" he inherited from the miserably failed economists of a miserably failed UPA-regime which did not even provide some basic facilties like a toilet and an LPG-connection to crores of homes living in misery for decades of a corrupt-colonial-congress-misrule.

Rediff Mischieveous Once Again.....Compulsive Anti-BJP Posts
by rishi on Aug 31, 2017 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

the article is obviously misleading with utterly irrational arguements reeking of malice against the BJP-Led-NDA Govt. There are many such desperate unemployed economists like this rammanohar reddy doing the rounds of media-sites and channels for attention , now that the chaiwala has successfully proved how even our high-schoolers in towns and villages under RSS-BJP-Led-NDA regime understand the significance and realities of demonetisation in a progressive economy like ours. Time for all those obsessively anti-BJP-Led-NDA Govt. to get into yoga and feel uplifted. The Nation meanwhile continues to move forward with a sincere government in command. Those who find it difficult to cope up with the New India Story have no choice but to mend their corrupt ways in order to fit into the resurgent new dynamics that our economy acquires with further strengthening of the elimination process of the illegal parallel economy which is phasing out.

I feel you have wasted your life in colleges when you believe a chaiwala has delivered so much. Being educated means tolerant to criticism but your intolerance to criticism and using such filthy words to humiliate your adversaries shows you should have also better performed as chaiwala instead wasting time in school and colleges.

You need to do YOGA and feel uplifted as your school and college education have failed to raise you out of your mediocrity that makes dumbos like you vulnerable to dubious figures....subjected to vested interpretation..... by ancient economists of the colonial-congress era.....lame economists who ensured that poverty and miseries for crores of people stays put forever in order that their employer's 'garibi hatao' slogan works election after election......garibi hat gayee toh kaun vote dega congress ko.....the educated are all with BJP and the vulnerable poor formed the votebanks of congress.....try getting the crooked logic of winning elections that congress adopted and trained its economists to ensure nothing moves in the Nation for 65long years .....RSS-BJP-Combine-Led-NDA is dealing with double the challenge....."making up for the lost 65years of wilful misrule of congress (economists like reddy were sleeping in comfort then ! ) when the Nation moved at a snail's pace while most of the countries worldwide leaped forward and also matching up to the aspirations of millions of young women and men in search of clean and honest livelihoods in an environment of National Pride ! Time for you not to fall for everything on the Net and use your own head too....try it ! And don't waste your time thinking what others do with their education.....put your own education to the most productive use today.....JOIN BJP ! Sooner than later, you WILL !

Well Said, it is true.... They have not done anything for the upliftment of the poor.... More than half of the Indian Population lives in a very poor condition.....Lakhs of children in India die due to malnutrition and poor health facilities...There is a lot of corruption and lack of governance everywhere...India is lagging behind in terms of Education, Health, Administration and Basic Infrastructure Facilities....We only talk about 56 inch chest, but we do nothing.....Our Prime Minister is most of the time out of country enjoying. He is just a Jumla Man. No intelligence. He will let everyone drink only Chai.

Some has to bell the cat....
by MS Vasan on Aug 31, 2017 01:59 PM

All the rulers of India have been safe and avoided belling the cat of Bribe, Corruption, Benami, because of their involvement somehwere in that. Modi tied the bell and that has made the rats run wild and hide...but they have to bring in their loot into bank or they become waste paper...Now that Govt is ivestigating lakhs of accounts for unaccounted deposits, economy will get formalised...
What Modi has to do is to catch all the bribe takers and benami holders before 2019 so that he can concentrate on nation building after 2019..

rajat misra
boon to society
by rajat misra on Aug 31, 2017 12:36 PM

Demonetization biggest advantage is that it got the money into the banking system which was otherwise lying dormant with people.Next all money which has come in does give a guarantee that it is legitimate money. Next the currency needs to be checked thoroughly whether it is genuine or a counterfeit. It will get the counterfeit out of circulation. Money which has not come back gives a direct indication that there were people who were hoarding currency which is black money. Black money which was in the system and being used to make big purchases suddenly disappeared as other regulation are now monitoring high value purchases done in cash which went unaccounted with the earlier system. Moving towards cashless system could not have been possible without withdrawing cash currency out of the system. Made the lowest in society to get into the organised banking sector who were at the mercy of brokers who were fleecing them of there hard earned money. It has made payments to labour in industry to be monitored who otherwise were paid in cash and made to sign inflated payments. Cash funding for illegal activities has been hit badly. Reduced funding of bad elements in the society who worked on cash payments. Reduced corruption in government departments as lesser cash in circulation to be offered as bribe. However, demonetization is not an end all solution for all our financial miseries it has be backed by other steps by the government then only the full benefit can occur.
