Job security along with practical cost of living in Metro city is very high compared to minimum wage given. Labor comes from rural area in city how can effort job loss without social security in practical manner. Now survival with current minimum salary not possible then frequent job loss cannot be effort by employee & labor. Current labor law is not covering practical cost of living compared to minimum wage. implementation of law is also big problem. Government always listen to Industrialist but not listen to labor & employee has been seen in past. Now government is talking but in end they will listen to Industrialist & corporate will cheat employee & labor has been seen in past. I hope this will not happen this time.
Nice work, but it needs strict implementation, as some of the Marwadi firms are the main culprits, they do not give wages as per market, nor do they give benefits which is provided in law. It is therefore the babus should strictly enforce system and see that it is followed, otherwise penalty should be very heavy.
In India Workers and white collar workers have been exploited in Pvt sector for many years now.The Gove should have come up with legislation long back.In today,s times Graduates are working in many Industries for less than 10,000/- p.m. and undergraduates for 5,000/-. One one hand Top executives are paid in Lakhs the staff in Lower management level are paid so less. This explotation must end.
