SEBI always wakes up after the event. many companies have cheated the investors and vanished with their money. SEBI has done nothing. similarly some exchanges have stopped trading in securities of some companies for non compliance of listing conditions and, in the process, prevent small investors from exiting. SEBI an Exchanges collude with promoters and do nothing to protect investor interests.
