Older PSUs get sick due to very high man power cost, as the salary, perqs. continue to increase due to faulty govt. policies whereas efficiency of work force particularly class III and IV comes down, no system of early retirement to them. Dis-investment is the only solution as private sector pays the salary as per market rate not as per 3-4 times more as happens in govt. This situation is alarming in Ministries and other govt. deptts. too who are getting payment out of tax payers contribution by way of budgetary support, govt. is not keen to take any corrective measure, whereas govt. must first ensure maximum employment at least at minimum wages not to feed only govt. servants and politicians,
