Most people want only 'light' jobs with high salary and huge increments so that they can spend on large EMIs .. how is this possible. even at 22 years of age, they cannot work without air conditioning and coffee ... no body wants to talk about this reality ... every one scores 99% but do not know much. We produce 'engineers' - ask them to repair a leaky tap .. you will see how much engineering they know !

The ongoing blitzkrieg in all media about our govt., leaders, photo-ops with important world leaders and the very loyal "bhakts" paining all rosy pictures makes us forget the other vastly larger, true side of the picture. Listing all those disappointing areas will be too much and impossible. But, non-availability of jobs, reduction of jobs, farmers dying and being killed, Kashmir and China, frightening possibilities of GST, all govt. depts including banks being tightened, taxes rising higher and higher, prices going up, bhrashtachar not coming down..... why are we not getting the absolutely true, factual information about what is happening? A guess: every thing that was settled and we were familiar with, including bhrashtachar, is being violently disturbed, changed and made more difficult. What will be done with lakhs of crores more that will be available to govt.? Will it go for unimportant, non-priority things for perpetuating the power holders? At what cost? Feeling uneasy increasingly !

...but sufficient remuneration for basic needs is a problem for many and so is dignity of labour. Many people are made to work for peanuts or without remuneration in guise of training or for experience as most of the present education system lacks in preparing students for employment suitable to their aptitude and needs of available job sectors. India is producing unnecessarily large number of graduates specializing in areas which do not have enough job openings.

Sorry to disagree with you .. do you think that people deserve the salary that they get?? What skills do they possess?? Aren't the IT sector jobs over paid ( at least in comparison with other sectors)? Education system may have its problems - but every one wants to become ONLY Engineers !! And know nothing in Engineering - unwilling to work hard. So many of them earn less than taxi drivers ( who work 14 hours a day !!) There are jobs , but these jobs are not 'popular' because it involves hard work. India needs Welders - but who is interested in becoming a welder?? We only want to become overpaid ITES employees ( not even programmers) and ITES employees will ultimately get sidelined ... writing is on the wall, we do not want to see it.
