Komaaaaali Modi
by piri on Jul 08, 2017 01:02 AM

is yet again in sore need of a diversionary tactic !

Earlier, he jumped right into the half baked idea of demonetization some dim wit whispered into his ears and believed in earnest that he is going to make everyone look up at him in awe !

And now, with the demonetization claiming a very big victim in the form of small and subsistence level farmers who lost all their investments due to the crash in prices (a direct result of the demonetization), the komaaaaali is running from state to state writing off tens of thousands of crores of rupees in farm loans !

From braying aloud incessantly about putting an end to black money during the demonetization, the komaaaali is now down to not saying a word about it or a word about how much the exercise fetched for the state in black money !!

Likewise, he has now jumped into a hastily put together GST regime. In all probability, the venture into Bhutan is a similar clever by half trick to divert the attention of commoners from the unfolding ill effects of the GST regime.

Whatever is happening in our country
by daniel thorat on Jul 07, 2017 06:21 PM

I sincerely believe that the only thing that is happening for past few years is that every thing including established practices, is being violently disturbed. New things are brought in. The sole purpose that can be achieved through these maneuvers is to throw all of us off-balance, so that we do not see where exactly we are ! A lawyer looking after our money may well be like a Shylock heading charity. Things are being tightened in such an all-sweeping way that we have no peace of mind or assurance of anything at all.

Dude, yes most money got deposited thru benami channels and they are now targeted. Have you ever seen a comprehensive list like the one discussed about the number of people who are on the IS sleuths radar? This would not be possible with out DeMo. Not everything is the way it looks. I have seen people trying very had to hide or use up their ill gotten old money. That in itself is success. DeMo has hit a Moral blow to Black Marketeers .
Example.. GUY A with 1000Cr wants to convert/Deposit the money before DeMo. So he asks 100000 people to open bank account and deposit 1,00,000 each. So now all the black money has come back to bank. This is what the media or this author says. What he fails to say is.. IT is monitoring the 100000 bank accounts and the value in those accounts. They will track the PAN or the withdrawals. Then they show up at their door step and catch the Guy A. Isn't this a Success. I think so.

The Only thing Demo has done is to convert Black Money to White. It is only the honest tax payers who are being harassed rest are into business as usual. In city like Surat which has the highest black money in the country, business is a usual. If the government has the guts to stop black money then they should link land to aadhar. But that will never be done as most of the politicians have stalked their ill gotten money into land and are fooling the public that it is lying in Swiss Bank. This Government soon will have a challenge to defend its moves or else it would be looked on as a "fool baniya" rather than a "chatur baniya"

If Modi has courage fight China and Russia without help
by newa on Jul 07, 2017 10:37 AM

Dont go asking other countries to help you for War.

Modi is capable only to fight Helpess Indians and Jaitley is not in his right frame of Mind and Modi a known coward as we see with Pakistan handling.

That is why Indians want British and Mughal rule as governments like Modi put entire citizens into hardship and slave labour and no freedom.

Modi says we are afraid to have War with China and Jaitley is not in right state of mind.

We can have war with small countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kashmir, Afganistan, Nepal and Srilanka and also with Indian citizens on unlimited corruption, Income tax notices on people not having any assets or property, stealing notes from them, bullying them in name of GST, Aadhar, Pan card and the taxes have been made so complicated plus farmers have increased cost of all food after getting loan waivers. The laws in multiple GST taxes are so worse even lawyers, judges and governments have difficulty in understanding them. Congress laws were simple and easy.

Now there is lots and lots of inflation and vegetable and milk prices have gone up but still his blind supporters always praise him for lord only knows what.

The Opposition and the writers like you have 'demon'ised the demonetisation. Concealing the truth, and camouflaging the'art of lying' is the 'business of the day' for these piddling commentors.

Demonetisation
by Manohar Rao on Jul 06, 2017 09:28 PM

It has never been out of news in the first place, the opposition parties especially congress is keeping it alive for ulterior motives. We read about it daily in the newspapers and in the online news forums.
To move forward, to take the country forward certain risks needs to be taken, sometimes those risks works and sometimes they do not. The congress never had guts for reforms because they themselves will get affected by such reforms and also they will loose their vote bank. The current Government has guts and moreover they seems to have vision.
Reforms are not supposed to be short term, the so called financial experts are commenting on the behest of the opposition parties and mainly congress to malign the government and gain political mileage.
Wait for at-least a couple years to see the effect of the reforms before coming to any conclusion.
Congress is still in the license raj era, it is not realizing that people of India in general have become more knowledgeable and smarter who will not fall into their trap of lies and false promises anymore.
