The GST proposed by congress had flaws, who told you? well research was done at nagpur house so you understood
Note Bandi could settle upto April,2017, similarly GST issue will be settled by the end of Mar,2017. As our FM is cunning, deliberately many issues are in confusion just to get more and more taxes by way of creating anomaly.
The following things will happen after GST implementation in next 3 yrs.
1) Baniya's turn-over will come down drastically by 20 - 25% every year in next three years from now. 2) Middle class people income will increase. 3) Salary class people start leaving baniya's company and start joining MNC where salary package is better to sustain basic life. 4) Baniya's will start doing all sort of crime like other caste people will not become their competitor. for this they will do all for eliminating them 5) Rich baniya's revenue will come down. 6) Business will start transferring to other caste and no one will take any baniya as employee because they are big traitor and is written in their blood. 7) Brahmins will start growing.

what about hereditary profession of brahmins? After reservation every move and step is to downgrade this great community. Brahmins are the only community in the world who are most intelligent when compared to anyone in this world. So, by bringing reservation you want to eliminate them.

Amidst all the negative hype being generated about GST without any factual basis, this is probably the first sensible article in Rediff. As the CA interviewed here has said, traders who deal in cash will have to come into the tax bracket, hence they are up in arms.
Complexity of filing returns is also just another bogey - it is one form to be filled per month, with the other 2 forms getting automatically filled in on the basis of the invoice details. There may be difficulty in doing it the first time (which is the case with any new system/ process etc.), but will be smooth thereafter.
However, the important thing is that Companies pass on the benefits of Input Credit, Logistical efficiencies, reduced corruption etc. to Customers. How the Govt. will ensure this remains to be seen.
As a small businessman, I can already see benefits for me - all the VAT, Sales tax etc. which I have been paying so far on various items bought for my business can now be treated as Input Credit, thereby reducing my costs. I AM ALL FOR GST.

Just see how political parties mislead the people and create hype. We pay income tax on our earnings. Out of what is left after paying the income tax, we again pay GST for any goods bought or services availed. Recently, GST was implemented, calling it a landmark tax reform “One Tax One Nation” and even celebrations were held at the central hall of Parliament. Now, many states have started collecting various levies in addition to GST. Though BJP leaders, including ministers, call GST as landmark tax reform in the history of India, the people continue to bear multiple taxes. Does this One Tax One Nation slogan has any relevance or is it just another misleading thing we have to live with.
People should come forward and take this to SC (through a PIL) to direct states not to levy any taxes other than GST as we are already paying most of our earnings as taxes whereas these taxes are not mainly used for developmental activities (like providing basic amenities like roads, education facilities, healthcare facilities, drinking water, maintenance of law and order, security of the nation, etc.).

When we get out of our home, we find that the roads are inadequate for public use; educational institutions hardly match with best in the world; so is the case with healthcare (we hear a number of deaths due to malnutrition; epidemic, etc.); lack of drinking water facilities, etc. Despite paying such heavy taxes, people are deprived of basic amenities, whereas there is no end to wastages, including providing security to those who do not require it. And the said thing is that none of the media talk about it. There is no coverage on any TV channel about the issues the country/people are facing. They also seem to have joined political parties and hardly cover issues that affect lifestyle of people of the country. I guess it is time for people to set aside the political affiliation and make these political parties accountable for their deeds.
