The Eco Sport is a terrific compact SUV without a doubt. But, it comes with a huge minus - two dangerous blind spots in the front. The roof support beams in the front are shaped as inverted "Ys", which in combination with open side-view mirrors create a pair of huge blind spots making it highly accident prone. I have had a couple of narrow shaves. Ford needs to make necessary structural changes to ensure driver/passenger safety.
