Good opportunity for Silicon valley to shift to India. GOI should encourage MNC to shift lock, stock and barrel and environment should be created to provide infrastructure for that.

Talk sense. Half knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance or no knowledge. Trump wants to ban H1b as well as put brakes on outsourcing by warning American companies not to leave shore for green pastures and cheap labour and he may imply penalty if they go outside usa. Second this is just IT, in other sectors he is talking to auto industry and other manufacturing not to leave usa and convincing them for tax soaps and other benefits if they quit from china which is big jolt to narendra modi make in india. America first will counter make in India. He is arrogant and stubborn and non flexible in his approach...

America is a laissez faire economy. If you think Trumps protectionism will be taken lying down by companies who will lose substantial amount of money because of his policies, you are mistaken. It's the money which makes the world go round. Not politics.

If his policies affect India or China adversely nothing will happen. if they affect the GIANT multinationals, it will not take much time for the senate to impeach trump. mark my words. Any big damage to American Companies will see the end of Trump.
