After Demonitisation, black money, digital economy, cashless transactions, which failed utter, now the talking-only BJP government is trying to fool the masses with UBI. These will have to be tolerated for another two years.
Who is going to assure that Universal Basic Income outflow computed as X % of GDP is a firm figure, computed with validated data sets, not just assumption?
Ironically the number of taxpayer is miniscule.
Instead of promises to give fish to every citizen where the no of fishermen are 1 in 150, govt should have focussed on increasing the number of fisherman and growing of food crops.

In finland and sweeden, there was voting to decide whether to introduce Universal basic income. Unfortunately in india nobody cares about tax payers, therefore a major policy is being implemented without any referendum.

if 80% of the population is starving to death, n the country of 1.3 billion people, mobile phone subscriptions in India has already reached 1 billion mark, according to the latest data supplied by TRAI. In that Mobile Internet Users In India 2016: 371 Mn by June, 76% Growth In 2015.Kindly correct your figure.
