Bengaluru's current position may be encouraging, but the core responsibility lies on its people who are currently living in and the people who we welcome to live in.
To protect it from all the risks and threats of turning out to be a disastrous city to live in, we must follow these:
Please keep away your no-traffic-rules attitude while getting into the city
You must not throw a single piece of paper on the streets for the rest of your life in Bengaluru.
You must get your car/bike serviced/pollution checked every three months.
You must not occupy more than 1200 feet for your living occupancy
You should not own more than 1 car/family
You should not have more than 2 children/family
You must use public transportation as much as possible
You must plant 2 trees around your house/apartment/per family or at least you must not cut the trees on your own
You must send your children to school using their school transportation only
Lastly, woman must always have 1 friend/family member/relative with her during the wee hours as well as evening hours
Please practice these and make Bengaluru shine for the world!

What about input from the Govt who only issue statements (before recent BBMP elections) that we will make Bengaluru a World Class City!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bangaloreans are having a nightmare every day. Bangalore roads have become very unsafe with Humps and Potholes. there have been fatal accidents when vehicles in particular two wheelers try to avoid the pot holes. We have one of the worst road networks, unmarked unscientific road humps, pot holes everywhere, no road markings, no edge kerbs, no road lighting (even at dangerous junctions,) We do not want to see daily newspaper headlines like:
Shoddy work by the BWSSB in filling trenches dug for a pipeline project on Kammanahalli Main Road claimed the life of a woman on June 7th, the victim, Jolly Abraham. The front wheel of the scooter got stuck in a trench which was not filled properly. Jolly fell and sustained fatal injuries to her head.
Two young girls died while avoiding a pothole near Halasuru Police Station!!!!!!
Pothole snuffs out techie's life - A huge pothole on the upper ramp of Devarabeesanahalli flyover, near Marathahalli, proved fatal for a young techie who was riding pillion with her husband .
The city’s potholes have claimed the life of yet another commuter. A 30-year-old pillion rider died on Dec 5th morning after slipping from the bike when the vehicle passed over a pothole near Big Bazaar, Vijaya Bank Colony, Hulimavu.
