by arungopal agarwal on Feb 27, 2017 10:01 AM

2016 pay and pension revision giving effect of more than 1.1 lac crore is direct loot of tax payers money, similarly no correction is taken for the perqs. of politicians, this loot is increasing day by day. Tax payers are goats to be butchered each time.

Solution to reducedeficit
by Sharat santoor on Feb 25, 2017 04:03 PM

1. Political Parties in state should stop giving hafta to their central bodies. INR 600-700CR from each state that too public money getting diverted will be one of the major issue.
2. Reduce Subsidized ration to BPL card holders as in Bangalore most of the BPL card holders own & rented their portion of House & are cash rich but still are holding BPL card.
3. Withdraw Free offerings to certain communities.

Sadly voters don't understand this serious issue.

Quality of life will deteriorate if borrowing is going only to pay salaries and interest instead of roads and other investment.

State governments need to be disciplined.

In a federal structure like Bharatvarsh with the undisciplined states governance and centre at the helm, it is mandatory for New Delhi to impose stricter norms on the states to prevent their prodigality.

Pay Commission
by dinesh daga on Feb 24, 2017 05:11 PM

The State Govts. cannot foot their salary bill even for Fifth Pay commission & now they have been gifted with VI & VII pay Commission pay scales. NO Business or Governance can happen with over stretching the resources beyond a limit. NO bank will lend any further money to any Industry which is generating all sort of revenue, viz : excise, VAT, Income tax, providing employment and every one is after the industry to milch. Everyone is giving lip service to the MSME sector which is the backbone of the Economy. No Simple solutions are implemented and kept them always guessing : what Next ? reduce the freebies and let the people understand the value of Money by earning for themselves and NOT free medicine, free food, minimum working Guarantees !! Did any one checked about the quality of work being done ?
