Add to that a TV and a mobile which everyone is having, where is the poor in India..?
Is it that until these socalled poor gets a car or a bike, they will be defined as poor..?

Poor
by arungopal agarwal on Feb 07, 2017 10:49 AM

Good but take a bow that all perqs. and pension of govt. servants will be delinked to DA base and reduced to the level of private sector, so as to save at least one lac crore to shift this amount to upliftment of poor.
IIndly bring strict family control on them as they add each year 2 crore people.
None of the Govt. was/is dare enough to really touch the issue.

Poor Or Lazy?
by Ashutosh Mahajan on Feb 06, 2017 11:21 PM  | Hide replies

In our country there are two types of 'Poor' peoples:- 1) Peoples who intentionally becomes poor due to laziness. These peoples do not want to work if given opportunity. They are happy only with two times food availability. Another one 2) People who are 'Poor' in real sense i.e. these peoples remain poor due to very low wages offered to them in spite of hard working (Labor Suction).

The GDP Per Capita of India is about 1000$ excluding the ambanis.

Income inequality is the real issue in India.

Also the whole culture of the country is anti-poor and pro-rich.

Add to that the superstitions in the country makes any progress impossible.

There are no workers in India?
by V Nagarajan on Feb 06, 2017 06:05 PM

There are no workers in India. In TN all the workers are from mostly Nepal. The only job they are asked to do is to wash used tea glasses in tea shop or choukidari or some manual labor. They are mostly unskilled labor. They get Rs 350/= per day plus free boarding and lodging. The skilled ones (cooks) get even up to Rs 500/= per day. Further they are all in the net. That means there is so much of demand for them that people pick them up by e mail? A Nepali lady as house keeper for old people get Rs 15K PM plus everything free plus 1 month leave per year.
In my humble opinion at least two million Nepalis will be in India, leading a comfortable life. So,where are the poor Indians??

poor?

where is the poor. In places like Pune, it is highly impossible to get contract workmen who work on daily wages. In India, poor wants money transferred into their bank accounts. No body wants to work hard.

Most of these high funda economists and so called intellects both in and outside govt miss the basic issue in india which is poor today don't want to work and are rather happy to get freebies and vote. So the poor remain poor for ever as what he gets free of cost, he spends on his basics and booze. So He has not bandwidth to run the economy beyond a limit. Now govt tax those guys who are working like donkeys and use that taxes to fund these poor which is 9:1 to the tax payer .. So when country will progress ? After paying taxes, middleclass has to contend with what ever they have and spend judiciously to run the economy as much. So country is real terms not moving from domestic consumption perspective( not counting basic consumptions ) .. As day by day poor population is growing and middleclass is getting squeezed to fund these guys, not sure where the country is heading towards. The only way these poors can be taken out of poverty and make them effectively contribute to nation building is make them self sustained, make available jobs for them and give them enough space to create wealth.. None is looking at this basic. Every one is busy doing vote bank politics.. Sorry state of affairs .

The present format of OBC reservations are empowering criminals.
by NEO HITLER on Feb 06, 2017 02:49 PM

The present format of OBC reservations are empowering criminals.

1 OBC YadavMadarChodh gov employee cheated me 1 lac. I am practicing witchcraft so that he, his wwife, 2 sons and 1 daughter may die in accidents or some other freak incidents.

Yadav criminals must be removed from the OBC list.

Yadav criminals, Jat criminals, Ahir criminals, Gujjar criminals, Patel criminals, etc are not real OBCs. You ask them: they claim they are Kshatriyas. That is why they have surname Singh. They are real criminals.
Recently, I saw a 30YearOld JatMaadharChodh kickking and thrashing a 55YearOld gentlemen over a petty argument whereas the mistake was on the part of JatMaadharChodh.

A few months back in a restaurant, I saw a GujjarMaadharChodh flaunting an unlicensed pistol and talking loudly.

In fact, in the guise of 'Champions for the cause of OBCs' these criminals using reservations are becoming Class 1 officials, IAS officers & other gov officials, Ministers, Chief Ministers, etc

First remove these criminals from OBC list and then reduce OBC reservations to 20%.

Only the Most Backwards Classes (MBCs) should get reservations under OBC and all criminal communities should be delisted..
