Modi did this though it meant that his political rivals Raja and Kanimozhi would escape along with Anil Ambani. Raja and Kanimozhi are after all, small time thieves compared to the big robber that Anil Ambani is.
Now, sensing that the AIADMK might soon cease to exist and that Rajnikanth may not bring the BJP much political gain in T.N, Modi has begun to wag his tail at the feet of Karunanidhi (never mind that the RSS, his political mentor, would be watching in silent rage and consternation at Modi trying to ally with a party whose founder made a public show of garlanding an idol of Sri Raman with chappals) !
And, in yet another act of helping a croxny capitalist steal a gigantic quantum of public wealth, Modi has divested the public sector HAL of its deal with Dassault and given it (worth Rs 30000 crores) to Anil Ambanis Reliance Defence Limited !!
With these two savior acts from the Modi govt and also the Rs 2 lakh crores public sector bank recapitalization, Anil Ambani is now confident of wiping off the gigantic debt he had jumped into in the 2G scam as easily as one can fall off a cliff !
Anil Ambani has all the reasons to join up with Mukesh Amabani or anyone else in any kind of celebration !
