Economics is nothing but common sense complicated.Anywhere in the world only those who could not become doctors or engineers become economists. They become more famous by complicating common sense and putting common man in more troble.

Pension for Retired Employees of Public Sector Companies
by singh aya on Dec 23, 2017 05:06 PM  | Hide replies

As of now there is No provision of Pension for Retired Employees of Public Sector undertakings/Enterprises of Central Government, where as Central Government Organisations like Railways etc. are getting Pensions which are substancial as well as gets revised upwards based on Pay Commission Recommendations, DA revisions, etc. from time to time.
PSU organisations are contributing even more than Central Govt. organisations, for the growth of the country, so why they should be deprived of Pension facility.
The PSU Employees are facing great hardship for their living after serving their Companies for 15 to 40 years and retiring without such Support.
Finance Minister even Prime Minister should consider Pension to all Employees of PSUs on retirement after serving their organisations for 15 years or More.

Prioiriize appropriate Mr. FM

Who are these economists? Who do they represent? The FM would do well to think only of citizens who pay their taxes and are interested in nation building. Interests of others ought to be passe.

Budget 2018-19

The economists would have done well if they had drawn the attention of the Govt. to the plight of the senior citizens, from the private sector and non-govt. sector. They do not have the luxury of pension, which the Govt. sector employees enjoy. If not anything, atleast, Govt. can consider revising the tax rates for senior citizens to a better scale and also raise the interest rates for fixed deposits to a decent level, so that the non-govt. sector senior citizens can lead a dignified life till their end. This is a very important and urgent need. Hope this reaches the right people at the earliest.
