Price Rise of Veg and other commodities are only because of GST and ill conceived fall back of GST. The GST rates HAVE TO BE REDUCED TO CONTROL THE PRICE RISE.Until it is corrected, nothing is going to happen abd it will become worse.

MODI and FM
by krishna gurumurthi on Dec 15, 2017 07:46 AM  | Hide replies

Modiji is fine. It is Arunji the FM people are SCARED OF. Mandate is given to Modiji but FM is using the mandate of Modi as if he has won the election and going about taking decisions with the sole aim of making money for the government, as if Government is doing business with people of this country. With several Crores below poverty line and majority being lower middle class, the financial system must be Social welfare state,FM is a corporate man is a fact, but to take the money from savings, (if that is true) to bail out collapsed banking system is like stealing money from Blind Beggar!!. Modiji wants economic improvement, he does not understand the operative mechanisms. He hopes FM will do it without hurting the middle class. If BJP wins both Gujarat and HP, it is okay, what will the FM do? Reforms is good but using the reform for only improving GDP and ease of doing business, throttling Farmers and SME will the divide between the Rich and poor very very huge. If modi wins it is the hope. But FM using Modi's win to crush the poor id EXTREMELY dangerous

People like Sowmya Ghosh , who get several lakhs as monthly Salary can not think of the common man of this country. Ninety percent of people in this country have never gone abroad, nor will/can . He would have abroad at least 100 times. Please understand the people of this country.More importantly the Social structure, if it gets angry, the system will crash and the country will take 50 years to recover, by that time many dangerous problems will rapidly enter. Our country needs thoughtful and even slow reforms. You can not do it in 2-3 years just as you make one cattle eat the fodder of 50 cattle in onday

I hope you got your salary intact. Mr Ghosh, you people think that you are teachers to teach the citizens some lessons. Instead of catching the big shots You threw the poor to starve and suicide. You must be tried of treachery. Your qualifications need to be examined as an economist will never say this. Are you not ashamed to say the following ,"But whenever we are doing a reform of such an extent, where 86 per cent of the currency is taken out of the system, there will always be some nitty-gritty (involved). They needed to keep it a secret.

If suppose the RBI had started printing the money (earlier) people would have actually gauged that something was happening. So the government had to keep a secret.I believe it was a delicate balancing that the government and the RBI did." RBI is not the ancestaral property of Modi.

RBI is the ancestral property of bishops and pastors. A crow in disguise of a peacock will always remain a dark crow.

Truth

Incumbency or failure always come in implementing a new issue, executing body is govt. servants i.e. permanent govt. whose mind set is full of doubts with people and on their bribe, how to get maximum. Notebandi is over, GST-total confusion due to one sided penal clauses, procedures, rates and limitations. Modi will have to pay the price of it despite damage control.
We have similar legal expert who considers all countrymen as tax evaders - Jaitely who is fueling into fire on new concepts with legl angles only.
If Modi wins 2019 election, we will move in silver era of financial governance, if he does not-maximum trade/manufacturing community will suffer.
