nobody talks about builders delaying in other states like at Bhiwadi where Arun Dev Builders have taken huge money from public many years ago but is not giving flats/plots. Rajasthan Govt. should also do something about them.

Cheated by builders
by Kamal Kalra on Aug 31, 2017 11:41 AM  | Hide replies

We had applied for a flat in Unitech Verwe 8 years back and the complex is still incomplete. The builders have taken 90% payment and deprived us of the tax benefit on the loan as well. We are paying high rate of interest to the bank. There is very little hope in sight. Hoping for some intervention from respected CM

Amrapali,Unitech and many more builders have cheated the buyers. There are more than 32000 buyers who have been cheated in Amrapali alone. What is buyers fault? They took loan, paying huge EMI,they paid service tax to government against each payment, they deducted TDS and paid to government as per law. So,then why Government is not steeping in?Real estate is a huge industry generating huge number of jobs, and if buyers are scared to buy flats then this sector is going to collapse.Such cheats are in all states.Government should crack its whip or else we may see a trail of suicides by hapless buyers. Also, this may bring down BJP Government.Sadly,Congress MP Kapil Sibal is a counsel for Unitech.Actually,Unitech etc flourished during Congress government and BJP has to now protect buyers.
