When such gross uneducated consumers and supplier available all efforts to bring quality in food and service is an utopian idea. Under the jumla govt. there is no further chance of bringing quality education. Instead of addressing old problems focus has shifted to bullet trains. What can be done with such govt. and their supporters? However I agree Gandhi family is the jinx for bringing change in the country.
The only reason behind this is our Out dated Rail infrastructure we require immediate up gradation this may cast huge but will save several Human Life in India.
Railways are in worst shape now. Authorities only talk big. Nothing is changed. Poor safety, apart from accidents, there are thefts, robberies. Poor Catering services, dirt and filth,leakin toilets, taps, waterless toilets and taps, late running, ticketless travelling, unauthorised passengers occupying reserved seats and above all corruption: and last one is root cause of all the ills mentioned. And there is increase in all charges: without rail budget they can increase prices of anything anytime: Manifold increase in platform tickets, fairs, enquiry cost through 139! Who will reply?
Better late than never. It took such a long time for the Railways to realise that the cramped pantry car is no place cooking for the entire train.Maittaining hygiene lft alone food quality is a big challenge on a moving train.Now that wisdom has dawned let us hope it will evolve into a workable system of good catering.
