Tobacco consumed organs
by VK Aggarwal on Aug 23, 2017 05:51 PM

There is large harmful effect on bodies of tobacco consumers. From this question arises whether organs donated by tobacco consumers are fit for donation and use in able humans or have high risk of cancer.
Medical profession should clarify if tobacco consumers should think at all for donation of organs and if so what parts are safe bet. This will reduce the expenditure on obtaining such organs and making waste of it. Further whether operated eyes are fit for transplant and also of aged persons at deteriorating stage.

Banning tobacco and related products
by v vv on Aug 17, 2017 03:08 PM  | Hide replies

Governments around the world will not ban these items, as these products give enormous revenue to the national exchequer. Furthermore, it also provides excellent employment potential, which again generates tax revenue. In addition, if anyone start suffering from some illness, there again consumption if medicines, hospital Utilisation etc etc. these are all economics for the govts. people are also aware of the problems, but they have learned to live with all problems, because "I smoking thrills now, but kills only later". After all, everyone will have to die one day.

Alcohol is a even bigger danger because one loses his mental faculty. It not only kills the person, he kills others while driving and does other crimes like rape and lynching.

If supreme court ban all BS-3 motor vehicle then why not the production of cigarette ,chewing tobacco. I think govt should consider upon these things.

If we are really fighting for banning tobacco then I have a long list of items to be banned.
1. Diabetes is becoming the next biggest epidemic. Please ban sugar.
2. Obesity is just knocking the door to claim the no. 1 cause for heart diseases. Please ban all kinds of dairy products having high fat content even simple glass of untonned milk, ban all kinds of meat, fast foods, close KFC, MC DONALDS, Pizza Huts and hundred of local eateries.
3. Environmental pollution is the biggest health hazard we are facing today. Please ban selling of further vehicles and ban using car as a whole except ambulances.
4. Greenery in cities are reducing at a rate faster than ever. Please ban all the constructions in cities & town, kids have no place to play & run they are getting addicted to mobiles & tabs.
4. Having a moibile is the biggest reason of stress now a days. We have become addicted to the electronic media and almost pulled ourselves from all social activities even meeting friends and have a cup of tea with them. When we are not sleeping we are with our mobiles doing something or talking to somebody. Bannnnn it.

Tobacco chewing & using of liquor etc are in existence for many hundreds of years. Avoiding the avoidable depends on individual's choice. Knowing well that it is not good for health many prefers to use, thus shortening the life span. At the time of Independence Indian's average Life Expectancy rate was 32 years whereas now it has risen to 68 years.

In general Good & Bad depends on individual's preference.
