welfare and Administrative costs
by Vattem Krishnan on Apr 25, 2017 08:47 AM

Welfare is for the sake of nation and in the interest of people. This arising out of pleadges amnifestos made to people for coming into power by political power.once power comes and is wielded issues arise about what is welfare and what includes in the cost of running machinery for ruling the country. It is known fact alliances by politicians increase costs and reduces welfare as power becomes important than abilities to delver. Now we raises issue of taxes and what nation awaits.GST is tagged as one nation one tax as Center or union can weild sate govts in hold to approve or disapprove interests of local govts.States have budgets again to meet political need.Center can confront local govts to release developmental funds on various issues. This story even after changes of labels ,the contents have not improved nor country could benefit in last 70 yrs. There is little now with change of colour or lable Nations vision and commitment for development changes for the sake of Nation or people.

GST REFLECT.......................
by ABHIRAJ RANAWAT on Apr 24, 2017 09:58 AM

Do agree with Hon'ble PM. GST is a welcome move as it will increase revenue of the GOI. But needs to look into various other aspects as well. The law is based on excise which hitherto was applicable to manufacturer having turnover over and above certain limit. The large units can afford to have huge staff and they can comply as they are well versed with the law and have adequate resources.Despite this huge litigation. The new law wants to punch each and every entry of sales and purchases in the monthly returns followed by annual return. Taxes are required to be paid every month by the dealer's. They also have to draw invoices on themselves wherever they purchase taxable goods from unregistered dealer and pay taxes under reverse mechanism. The law has exposed un experienced traders to excise department (mind you it is neither simplification nor rationalisation) with whom neither they nor their consultants have never dealt with. The GOI has simplified proceeding under income tax to a greater extent and the department is very user friendly but same cannot be said for GST. Filing of monthly returns will require online accounting which again require investment in technology and accountants raising cost of compliance many fold for the traders. Gov should have distinguished manufacturers and traders and traders and service providers should have been left to VAT dept (run by state gov). The initial period will have lot of chaos for sure.

Be it meeting or speech. We are getting to hear only him and nobody else.Hard to digest this skewed reportage by media. Are there no other leaders or people in this gathering to be heard and reported? Total hijacking of system and platform by one person in single minded megalomaniacal pursuit. What a shame?

Who will be much benefited by GST Capitalists or Poor
by Ramanarao Kallepally on Apr 23, 2017 07:17 PM

It is understood that Modi government is always for Capitalists but not in favour of Middle and Poor Class people. This type of attitude is totally unacceptable by the people of this community, Seventh Pay Commission of Central Government employees benefits are ignored for autonomous departments under the Government of India - which is totally unjust-ice and unwanted, Government of India should look into this affair at the earliest.

Komaaaaali Modi
by piri on Apr 23, 2017 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

keeps braying out about one this, one that, etc. !

And beneath that argument, the hordes for whom the komaaaaali is the cover bray out One culture, one language, etc !

Whatever they say and try so hard to be heard saying, common sense would dictate that

One nation - Yes, of course (though the argument cannot in any way be used to hide theft of common resources by croxny capitalists as the komaaaali party has been hard at work doing)

One culture - No, not at all ! It would remain perennially futile for the komaaaali party to try and delude themselves on this count.

One language - This is the most comic among One this, One that the komaaaali and his hordes say !!
