We are a great fan of Royal Enfield and have rode a RE Machismo for almost 14 years. I also had a KTM and sold it to buy an Himalayan and then the problem started.
If you make bikes like an Himalayan without much R & D and testing, Bajaj may be right in what they say as their precision is much better in the bikes we see such as the NS 200, Dominar, Discover etc but much cannot be said about your bikes anymore.
On an Himalayan you virtually stand to put the gears and to brake. It is a lovely bike with not much emphasis given on safety and detailing.
