In case of Shahabuddin the case ran 28 years and he successfully runs his mafia empire in Sewan Bihar. Lots of innocent boys kept in Tihar Jail and used for showing to public that we caught this person that person for theft and robbery just because the boy is from poor family. You can see lots of these boys being kept in Tihar Jail and their mothers do not have money to pay. Foriegn tourists also regularly come to India and spend thousands of crores attending cases for years no justice.

Even today I would say that by arresting Mallya, nothing much is going to be achieved. He has properties which is worth much more than the amount he owes. Find out the loop holes and seal the process. We must always see that no more mistakes occur. Govt moving files from here to London and then some other processes would cost more than 100 crores for the government. What has happened to Sahara Group? What about that some person who projected himself as saint? Let us stop all such nuisance.
Had the Govt. of India been alert in preventing him to flee to London this much hardship waste of Govt. money that is public money could have been avoided. Even after bringing him back to the country will the judiciary pronounce judgement within at least six months and jail him as an ordinary prisoner? No. He will be given first class status in the jail till he moves his case to SC. He will be given bail also after few months of imprisonment. The public money lost to him will never be recovered in full. The politicians who favoured him with loan will never be punished as no evidence will be available to the court. A judge like kumaraswamy will help him to get acquitted. The present Govt. will boast that they have brought him back and try to blame the previous Govt for the fault of this Govt also and public will clap. As long as a highly corrupt politician's corruption proved and he or she is publically executed common man will see such more and more dramas.

IT WAS THE UPA GOVERNMENT WHICH DID NOT MOVE A STONE TO TAKE ANY ACTION EVEN WHEN HE WAS CHEATING ONE BANK AFTER ANOTHER. FOR 4 YEARS THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO TAKE HIM TO COURT; AND WHEN ONE OR TWO BANKS WENT TO COURT TO PROCLAIM HIM 'HABITUAL OFFENDER' SO THAT HIS PASSPORT COULD BE IMPOUNDED, ONE OF OUR JUDGES SQUASHED THE PROCEEDINGS. HE SURELY HAD THE SUPPORT OF SOMEONE VERY POWERFUL IN THE UPA GOVERNMENT TO DO THIS.

Do you mean to say that what you and I know is not known to the present ruling party when they were in opposition? They know. But main aim is not to clean the system but keep on blaming the previous Govt. and fool the public by falsely showing that they are against corruption. All politicians of all parties are very good friends behind the scene and we foolish public keep fighting saying this party is good that party is good.
