Instead to poking fun, you must try to ask Gadkari to fix potholes on the roads that appear evrey year during rains. Instead of wasting money year after year on using technologies for constructing roads which always results in potholes, he must use money wisely. Rather than trying to waste money on reducing travel time between Goa and Mumbai, he must use it for making the present roads stronger. As per his opinion, people will like to travel on this pot holed roads.

somewhere after Panvel the cars will get loaded on to a huge transport place. It is likely that at least ten huge aircrafts will be commissioned to and fro and further added if so required
provided the minister saheb is permitted to continue with the portfolio.

Road speed is based on the quality of road and its design speed. Almost all of even Kerala has good smooth although one lane road. Expressways post 2010 have improved speed limits like Outer-Ring Road Hydrabad has 120kmph limit and even 160possible making it the fastest in Asia. So its not hard to imagine Mumbai-Goa road to have 120kmph.

Gadkari Saab, Please answer the following question
by Sunil Dodeja on Sep 22, 2016 05:42 PM  | Hide replies

Gadkari saab,
With all due respect to all your grand plans, kindly answer one simple question :
Every year during the monsoons roads across the country including toll roads develop pot holes and collapse.
Every year the state governments and local governments experiment with fancy technologies - Jet Patcher, Instant setting cement, etc .
Roads get potholes latest by June and are repaired earliest by December - so we have good roads for less than 6 months of the year.
After becoming the minister responsible for roads, what have you done to come out of this chakraviyuha of constant repair and breakdown of roads.
If you have done nothing, then you are no different from other ministers who have ruled us in the past.
Am open to discussions, suggestions and advice.
Regards

Nice to see indian roads in grid formats in the yrs to come
by rajesh venkatraman on Sep 22, 2016 05:35 PM

Good to hear on the number of roads to be developed and also the perday km of roads being built sure to have aache din when people use those roads in the days to come and save the precious fuel.
The govt should try to have more highway type of roads between states 3 laned and 2 lane service roads along the east -west and north south like a grid which will help easier movement of goods across state and also save a lot of fuel rather than having winding roads of 2 or 1 lane at some places. Even the ghat roads should either have 2 - 3 lanes for faster movement of vehicles and the median should be broad with thick plantations so that there are no blind spots during night travel.Make sure to have required number of under passes and exits from the highways and there should be no signals or cross roads where vehichles. passengers or animals keep moving and create accidents, we need to have proper exits to get of the highways and to get on the highways with proper markings and ramps as necessary

6 hours by road by animation not on the road, tripathi saheb. When a minister says something it has to be correctly interpreted !
