NGT seems to just want to expand it's power.. Delay in Railways and Delhi Metro will only lead to more pollution since people will prefer to use cars and create more traffic jams..

The other day, sports minister was saying no policy exists to give cash awards to Paralympic medalists... Just because there is no policy, we can do away with otherwise obvious things... What is the logic in asking DFCCIL to obtain environmental clearance, while DMRC and IR need not obtain the same??? Let us wind up the ministry and stop practice of any sort of clearances to preserve environment for the sake of development...
