MAKE IN INDIA
by krishna gurumurthi on Feb 20, 2017 03:36 PM

YOU CAN MAKE ANYTHING ANYWHERE IF YOU HAVE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS,IN FACT YOU CAN MAKE IT CHEAPER WHERE THERE IS CHEAP LABOR.SIMPLY SAYING MAKE IN INDIA HAS NO SCIENTIFIC RELEVANCE. UNLESS YOU HAVE IPR YOU CAN NOT MAKE ANYTHING.PHILIPS SPENDS LOTS OF MONEY ON RESEARCH AND HAS HUGE IPR CAPITAL. IT PROVIDES NON EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO MANY COUNTRIES AND MAKES THINGS. PM MUST BE WELL ADVISED ON WHAT REALLY IS TO MAKE IN INDIA.STATEMENTS ARE FOR POLITICAL CONSUMPTION.FM, AJ KNOWS IT,BUT IS AMUSED TO LISTEN TO SUCH STATEMENTS THAT PROVIDES ELECTION MILEAGE. INTELLECTUALISM IT IS A UNINFORMED AND IRRELEVANT STATEMENT

How Make in India will help our country
by Shake Hasina on Oct 26, 2016 10:20 PM

At present the Trade Unions rule the roost.

Once foreign manufacturers decide to invest their green backs either the Union workers will have to toe the line or the foreigners will pull up their socks and perform or the manufacturers will pull the plug. They can make India pay in the International Court of Law.

In fact most foreign companies will only invest in India if the current lazy-worker-friendly laws are relaxed. A hire-and-fire, management friendly policy will be brought in and all the current crop George Fernandeses, Datta Samants and Sharad Raos will go out-of-business.

Only an India that is Management friendly with a hire-and-fire policy in place will take the country forward and higher.

It is better that you loot and work. But this thug/corrupt/communal govt led ny Modi is onli looting and not working.Modi onli highlights the negatives of the ruling party but what Modi has done in last 30 months?Modi should tell the people how many of his jhumlas has been fulfilled? Still Modi/BJP are fishing in trouble waters in UP.But BJP will lose by a huge margin in UP.Modi-Amit shah jodi is trying evry dirty triks but totally failed.History will be repeated as no-non Congress govt is re-elected in India.YOu can have the case of Vajpayee also.So this thug Modi govt will be thrown out by the same people who brought him in 2014.

Completely right Mitesh. This looter called Modi has ruined this country projecting false growth claims but joblessness abounds. He thinks all Indians are a bunch of dimwits. He will know very soon that crying wolf & training guns on your enemy is not enough to fulfill your electoral promises. First get the economy moving & provide jobs. Then he can think of a second term.

People like you who benefited from the corrupt badam-pista-pasta-rule will never want to see Modi rise.

But still there are three years -- sufficient time -- before the next Indian general elections 2019.

Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar.

To our Union Leaders... I feel that you are always against manufacturing... If you start an industry union will want representation. They will demand things which will not make industry work. You see yourself what is happening in Kerala. Why communist govt in power unable to create jobs. They cannot do it. They can only bring down industry. All union leaders... why do you start industry yourself. Ask govt to give sick units free to run. Produce result. I am sure you will no dare too. You are interested in someone taking responsibility and you get paid for slogans. In west bengal which is supposed to pro workers why workers are not prosperous. I feel all unions are only for disruption. They will claim tall moment they have act, they will shy away. I want all unions to take over all sick state and central units and produce result. Make it economic success. Let workers prosperous. We will then agree that unions care for workers.

We need more of broader outlook than sectarian outlook in a collective way, somewhat like what countries like china inculcate in people!

Either you work for Tata's, Reliance, Birla etc or you'll have to work for Totota, Honda, Samsung. The choice is your's. The days of working for BHEL, HMT etc, all related with socialism has failed miserably.

So it is important to support India's pvt sector or else you will have to work for (or import) from foreign pvt sector.

Make in India
by Sankar Pujari on Oct 25, 2016 11:20 AM

Maximum manufacturing goods are imported from China Companies, hence the importing from China must be restricted immediately and their Companies must be pressurize to manufacture in India only. Further, the retirement service period must be restricted up to 33 years of service or 60 years of age whichever is earlier in Govt. sectors by which substantial youth can get job otherwise there is no other way to generate employment.
