Yes it si true that today's college education be it technical line or medicine or other , it only creates materialistic money making thinkers and does not make any person good humanitarian individuals and make a good society individuals with moralistic values.
What is the purpose of education? Job? Self prosperity? I think those who choose social sciences and language learning have their passion for it and not aiming at an immediate prosperity.
modern western education does not connect human devlopment; its nothing but manifestaion of aggressive imperialistic education in an artificial veil of economic progress ; The real form of western education is to cripple the entire human race and create slaves in the garb of monetorial upliftment of minority individuals serving the same old imperialists and subliterate rasist cultures;
Doctor/Engineer/Lawyer/Actor/Shopkeeper Etc parents want their child to follow their profession. It is absolutely wrong.Let child select his/her career they feel like
now a days undergraduate is not fancy, and india itself better, the boy will be more mature,family bonding will be there, it is too early to send for abroad, let him study engineering and let him mature more,
