Quit your parties first
by Thing on Oct 06, 2016 12:50 PM

First these MLAs should quit their own party because if anything the Congress has bigger role in making education a fish market. State govts and Central govt. have washed their hands off education after discovering how profitable it is to run such institutions while garnering Social capital.

In India all are very craze in gaining political power knowing heavy fruits of wealth linked with it.Classic example is the story of this article.Wealth gained by politicians in crores make them not aware the draining of wealth by servants even as it is a water drop for them

Education mafias in every state
by palanki narayana on Oct 05, 2016 08:58 PM

Many of those who reaped the riches of dubious educational ventures started with humble beginnings. During my 35 years of teaching in an NIT, I have seen how a student leader assisted by a group of goons started as a petty extortionist and accumulated enough assets to start a group of educational institutes (engineering, commerce, pharmacy). He is now in prison for his role in Vyapam scam.

It is an open secret that private medical colleges are taking not less than one cr for admission.During UDFs time almost all districts are having oone or two medical colleges. Why they had given permission to start private colleges and to levy huge amount as fees. Now such people are going hunger strikes. There is something wrong with our system.
