kindly don't choose this kind of people who is playing with the common man's emotion, here you are seeing to modi's mother but think his mother also now not a common man, when she has gone to the bank definitely immediately. but see to the common man they are dieing each and every sec because they are waiting in the queue. see instead of common man this people displaying modi's mother, if you people will find the immediate solution that is very very help full to others, who is committing suicides for the cash
Just as the way MMS introduced reforms in 1991 to save Indian Economy, NAMO has embarked upon another major reform aimed at eradicating Black economy. There will be short term repercussions, but that can not be an argument for opposing reforms.

No one is opposing reform. People are opposing the way it has been implemented without any prior measures to tackle the situation that has arisen at present. Simply suggesting people to go to ATMs and banks to draw/exchange money is not all. Where is money? How many ATMs are at present operational? How many ATMs have the ability to hold the new notes? These questions you can not ignore. Had preparations (equipping banks with extra 100 rupee notes beforehand) would not have created such a situation. Common man is standing in the queue and not the politicians and corrupt bureaucrats. Time will say the real thing.
What message the leaders want to give the common man by opposing the Government action against the BLACK MONEY? I hope Government will not listen to these leaders.
It was a good decision to mark the exchanger, as they are coming repeatedly propped up by politicians and black-money hoarders. I request the Govt. and the media to popularise through slogan " ek bar, pura notes". Don't throw oldies and vagabonds to the streets for exchange. Only One from each family. This is the 6th working day, already the counters are empty / half-empty in several places. Please high-lite these aspects to un-educated MPs in particular and people in general.

This act seems to to inspire other countrymen who are feeling anguished for standing cue..All praise to the old mother of PM who looked cheerful while doing the needful ...IN contrast to Rahul gandhi ..who is seeking to provoke public disorder

To get political mileage, Mr.Modi did not spare even his 97 year old Mother. Rahul Gandhi is better as he himself came to bank.

Yes with his security Guards inb trail and inconveiencing general public and get cheap publicity. Comments from you is expected because of your name. Does you or your Rahul Gandhi knows about the difficulties people underwent in 1978 during his Grand Mother's regime?: That time also people stood in long queues. The photo of PM's mother standing in queue without any security and getting the things show the difference.

It is not about anybody doing it for them. They take pride in not depending on anyone as long as they can. It is the same with my mother too,who still insists in going to ration shop on her own, i have tried in vain but she wants to be on her feet not depending on anyone till she can. As someone experiencing it, i can say it is a genuine act on the part of mataji. Modi doesn't need such gimmicks with fragmented opposition giving him all the comfort
