People standing in queues are expecting a better India for the future of their children, and the thieves who have looted India, many of whom are running business, and some news websites, and TV media are worried.
none is saying Mallaya is patriot nor saying those in queues are thieves but they are saving the country from corrupt people, they are facing inconvenience but are not SAD . but about the author of this post who is indirectly apposing the move of the Govt HE SHOULD DECIDE WHAT HE IS ?
hoarder in India at present, Gautam Adani, like all other really big black money hoarders, has no need to store his black money in cash. He sends it abroad through several ways, chiefly by over invoicing his imports, and then brings it back sparkling white in the form of P notes to invest in his companies. The Ahmedabad ED office brought charges against Adani with incriminating evidence before the MB Shah led SIT and the case is being dragged by the govt.
In 2014, he was the chief financier of the BJPs most expensive campaign in Indian electoral history.
As a big reward, the BJP govt refuses to modify the P note modus of entry of foreign investments despite strong recommendation by the Justice M B Shah led SIT (set up to recommend ways to check big time corruption) to do so.
The P note facility in its present form was brought by the equally corrupt Congress led UPA. And Narendra Modi is happy taking advantage of it in the same manner that the Congress did !

Rediff's strategy of creating controversies is good journalism-albeit a short sighted one. Mallya and the black money virus are not mutually exclusive. There are many Mallyas who are not so highly visible. And also realise that Mallya did not grow to his proportions not in a day.....He was given a lot of favours over 30 years. Both processes have to go on....Bofors culprits have flown the coop though...thanks to strong connections with the powers that be...
.....helped nurture his business empire for the last whole decade of sonis-rahul misrule and they now expect NDA to waste their time on such individuals when the Nation first wants to clean the economy and the natio of corrupt politicians like in congress whose illegal looted wealth amounts to a thousand maalyas anyway....so congress an its stooges here on rediff do not have any moral right to question NDA ....especially when NDA 's war against corruption is visible to and welcomed by a billion-plus well-wishers managing the short-term difficulty for the nation's longterm interest.
