Why is Rediff...
by Janas on Nov 15, 2016 09:35 AM

NOT reporting the good news also. For the last 6 days there is no report of cross border INFILTRATION, NO STONE PELTING IN KASHMIR AND MAOIST INSURGENCY IS AT A STANDSTILL. There is no talk of these in the secular media and by secular political parties except ToI. People may say I am a Modi bhakt. I couldn't care less. FYI, lots of hotels in Chennai r accepting 500 notes for the betterment of the nation. Local Kirana shopowners r saying this is a passing phase and if we can do our bit for the betterment of the nation, this sacrifice is minuscule. Rediff is just cribbing. News should be reported as is. And if people can stand in long queues in front of Salman Khan movies, why complain about standing for a few days. Admitted there r few glitches, but Govt. is rectifying them. Support this endeavour to cleanse our society.

I am not. Face facts. I have myself agreed Modi screwed up with issuance of 2000 Rs notes ahead of 500s and 100s. But y don't u see the larger picture. No JAWAN IS KILLED OR MUTILATED FOR THE LAST 6 DAYS. Or have become blind to the sufferings of our soldiers saying it is just their duty and not ours?

Cash crisis...
by ASHOK UPADHYAYA on Nov 15, 2016 09:18 AM  | Hide replies

Decision is very good... If RBI had supplied Rs. 500 notes instead of 2000 cash crisis would not have arisen... No body would like to give change of Rs. 2000 notes when you purchase goods worth upto Rs. 200 or 300, 700 upto 1500 People are hoarding small denomination notes...

The govt has to be smart, so they have started printing 2k only earlier. So anyone who had knowledge about 2k would think it is in addition to old 500, 1000 so no one had any suspicion. If rbi started printing new 500 note before announcement, everyone would be alerted and would exchange old-new notes of 500. even those in the mint printing 2k notes earlier would not have suspected that old 500/1000 would go. so practically no one had a clue.
so only 2k/5k notes were the solution and 2k was the better devil which was opted.
The corrupt raga-yech-mam-mul-may-khangs etal are crying as they would have "lost" crores of ill-earned money.
even the bjp guys would have lost their monies, JUST THAT THEY CANNOT CRY!!!!!
The traders/business/docs/liars/cas etc who rolled on unaccounted notes are losing sleep.
while everyone is pitying on traders/truckers/small businesses, NO ONE BOTHERS TO ASK THEM IF THEY PAY TAXES???????????????

In the end, MIDDLE-CLASS and SALARIED ones and all those who genuinely paid taxes, i.e. 3.5 crore people in a population of 125 crores, are the only ones having peaceful sleep.
MODIJI IS THE GREATEST, THE MESSIAH OF THE MIDDLECLASS. LONG LIVE.
p.s. rediff mod dont delete this message :-p

its time to buy safety lockers and put our cash in the lockers than in the bank atleast we will not have restrictions on withdrawing our own cash mind you extra precaution hold your currency in only 50 and 100 notes so that we will not have the pain to stand in big line at atm counters or banks

mr. raja ur idea is practical but it is illegal to hoard cash and hoarding cash is meningless as it does not earn any interest.
so only illegal cash is hoarded and legal money is to be parked in bank.
u can always go to the bank every fortnight and withdraw 10k in smaller denominations for normal use.

common man in cash crisis
by raja garaga on Nov 15, 2016 09:05 AM  | Hide replies

in our great country a common man is not able to withdraw his own money kept in the bank because our PM cannot stop the corrupt people from using their black money so he has decided to stop the white money of the comman man.
sleepless nights for the black money holders that is what our modi says but it is sleepless and homeless and food less days and nights for the common people.
great going - thanks to our PM modi for putting a common man in a horrible situation.
if you see the current situation no black money holder or politician is suffering it is only the comman man who is suffering.

Wrong to conclude " no black money holder or politician is suffering"
just that THEY CANNOT OPEN THEIR MOUTHS LIKE U AND ME AND TALK. WE ARE TAX PAYING CLEAN CITIZES AND CAN AFFORD TO TALK.
Everyone in India with >2.5L is losing sleep irrespective of status.
how else would u justify burning notes, throwing them in ganga/yamuna, droppin them in temples????
rest assured so long as ur tax paying.
