Very beautifully written blog by educated person. The tone is to blame Government. But surprisingly such well educated writer ignored the fact well published that exchange of notes is only by concerned individual and not by proxy. She should thank bank officials who are kind to offer water n hospitality to all customers in line as also suggesting her to call her mother.
While on subject, I request the senior bank officials to simplify procedures. They can summon request of ex-bank officers, their HO employees and if required educated officials to help bank cashiers who are required to do some clerical work which can be done by such extra staff. Let the people first visit a counter manned by such extra officials who check the credentials, forms and other clerical work, stamp & initial the forms and then the public may be guided to go to cashier for exchange procedures. Substantial time of cashier will be saved for checking the forms. Cashiers job is just to exchange the money.
The opposition political parties who are making hue n cry, why not coming forward for helping bank officials which will ultimately ease the problems faced by common public. If opposition is so concerned about public, they can, with permission of bank officials open counter outside bank, and issue tokens after verification of id card and then call public as per turn and permit them entry in bank after verification of id, so that no proxy tokens can be used.

You can exchange only against your account with your own ID. Not against your mother's accounts. You can deposit in others account. This lady proved her ID and authority letter from her mother. Read clearly. You might have exchanged before as your party warned you in time.

All real issues you will call now as ploys. I suggest some body should fall very sick in your house and you should not get any cash from anyone or any atm in the night. That will really open your eyes about this chaos. Till then stay in our dream.

Instead of all suck mucky remarks, think about those who are getting incovenienced. No one is giving change for new 2000 and there is not enough change of 100s. Where will people buy their day to day things for cooking and other uses?

Your name is Shah also. The 2 gujaratis are holding the nation to ransom and you also supporting them.
What ever hardships common man is facing in any form are praiseworthy, however all of us must be aware of our Militory personnel in uniforms are standing @ ours boardes 24X365 days & even ready to sacrife @ any moment for the Nation ie for all of us live in peace. What ever steps taken by P.M "NAMO Ji for demonetising money are exceptionally praiseworthy & in the interest of the Nation ,dishonest & antinationals are only crying hoarse.
I just went to bank once in last 6 days and converted Rs 4000 to 100 Rs notes. Still I have enough to go for one week. By that time the problems will be less. I had almost paid all bills by eight Nov. What I am doing is simply keeping my requirements to minimum. And we should learn this art of living with basic nessisity whe required. 15 years back when earthquake hit Gujarat there were no bank working, no water to drink, no shops open, building collapsed, no shelter for atleast a month and still ppl didnot complained and to whom they complained when every one was just fightinf for his own life

The business is not working well. People are buying less so shopkeepers are unable to sell. The economy is not moving. And you are talking about being spending less.
