The Govt. should also be equivalently accoutable
by Vishnu Basantani on Nov 11, 2016 12:34 PM

After the Govt. asking people to deposit all cash and pay taxes on the same. They should also release their acounts as to where this public money is spend. Not that they collect taxes and again issue such contracts for infrastructre, etc which are never fulfiled.

Please give us accounts for our taxes Mr. P.M.

Need Appreciation
by C V on Nov 11, 2016 11:14 AM

Appreciating any step that is in the interest of the nation by the government, whether State of Center. I feel the Central government must also try to make the system of source of funds and its expenditure of political parties and NGOs working in the country more transparent. That would be another step towards eradication of corruption.

At present, the most worried and loser groups are those hoarders and traders, who made a lot of money (by rigging prices of Daal, vegetables and other essential commodities, by artificially creating scarcity or otherwise but spiraled up prices and gained crores of rupees in profit, of which a part might have also gone into political system) They supported political parties and this decision has come as a back-stab for them. Their entire HARD EARNED BLACK MONEY has gone evaporated and now they will have to WORK HARD to get it back. Political party must be careful as they may lose some support for this back-stabing else they must be given avenues to get their share back.

Modi Won Election Thro Black Money - Making others fools
by on Nov 11, 2016 10:41 AM  | Hide replies

Wonder this man has any morality!

Who talks whom of the black money? As promised Modi yet to fulfil his election promise to get the black money stashed abroad.

Modi is playing diversion tactics to hoodwink the peoples.

Modiji has taking best step as PM to curb black money, corruption, Pakisthan Indian money economy terror and others. Real estate is filled with corrupt, anti nation, unethical people in congress, SP, BSP, CPI, CPM, TMC, AIDMK, JDS, JDU, AAP and other parties. So we want India and Indians grow is strong, ethical manner to sustain Growth.

Well highlights of this week, if you are interested.

1. This demonetization was taken up to ensure that there will not be money to distribute to voters in the upcoming UP elections where BJP has little at stake. Perhaps 'care' has already been taken to ensure the funds of BJP were handled before the announcement, wouldn't be surprised if that was done, in fact shocked if it wasn't.
2. With this act the existing black money may have been curbed, of course most of it may be getting converted to white as we speak, and there is plenty of time till end of December for the hoarders to minimize damage.
3. Corruption, bribe taking/giving will resume shortly once the availability of currency stabilizes. No steps taken to announced to stem this rot at source.

You may all now, and shoot the messenger.

bad decision
by J Arora on Nov 11, 2016 10:29 AM

very bad decision everyone was made a victim plus they are passing a law to protect government employees depositing notes. also lot of government employees were seen bypassing lines and taking the money with help of bank people. again same problem will come if government employees are protected as they never get caught only political people get caught every five years but these officers never come in the net

ATMS HAVE NOT OPENED AS PROMISED, BANKS HAVE NO CASH, PEOPLE STAND IN LINE FOR 2 HOURS AND THEN THEY SAY THAT CASH IS FINISHED.
FREE INDIA HAS NOT SEEN SUCH FOOLISH IDEAS BEING IMPLEMENTED WITHOUT PROPER PLANNING.
