Acepting the proposal is importance
by joseph on Nov 11, 2016 01:08 PM

It is very important for te citizens to take a very serius note that Mr. Modi as an enterprenuer has given a serious though to it, kept it in mind, studied it and implemented it whereas the earlier PM being an academecian neer bothered it. The lesson we should earn is that an aademecian thinks that no one is to correct him, he is supreme, knows everything uner the sun. There is a proverb loating in the Indian cmmunities that the "cow" of the bok does not eat grass. It is very cear tht an academecian does not bother about practical side of the business, he goes by what is written in book. Dr. Manmohan Singh many a times disregarded and negelected to meet the members of the Opposition on a numbr of occasions, whereas such a meeting could have aed way for clearing the unprecedented blockings of the Parliament. Why should they disrupt the Parliament, I am the boss was his clear intention. It was not only undemocratic and but not heard of in the history of Indian democracy. Even Mr. Nehru was very cordial to meet the oppostion members. In short the adamant stand of the previous PM coupled with his disregrd to other elected poitical leaders led to the growth of high rate of black money and high inflation unprecedented in the history of the couontry to which Dr. Manmohan and the Congress is still responsible and answerable to the citiens of India Congress despte being thrown out of power is bound to give a poper reply to the country, before fighting for the next electio

This dream of the mango man can be fulfilled only if Congress and AAP join hands. For the benefit of the minorities and weaker sections of society, RaGa can be PM and AK can be Dy PM. I hope this vision is fulfilled in 2019.

Populist move
by aman on Nov 11, 2016 09:21 AM  | Hide replies

But will backfire, In India there are more people without proper bank accounts, all their earnings they have will be in cash, these poor people would have thought their money would be safe but not any more after this move as they depend on banks and also will now have to pay commissions and fines to the banks fee and fines.
Some are going to be harassed and live in fear. Instead of stopping black money creation at the source, this method will do more harm by bringing higher denomination into the market. Modi should find ways to stop black money creations in the higher level like real estate, Gold purchase by making them all through proper accounts and not through cash.

i agree. The black money will start with new currency. Eg if one books a marriage hall after 31st Dec, 2016 the manager will ask only some percentage of amount in cheque and remaining in cash, which will be the start of accumulation of black money

Corruption
by dillipkaundinya on Nov 10, 2016 09:26 PM  | Hide replies

Corruption is the manifestation of poverty and insecurity. Poorer countries have more corruption. Higher rich countries have less poverty. If a fool believes that exchanging old currency notes with new ones will banish corruption he lives in his own paradise.

Corruption is not a manifestation of poverty and insecurity.
It is a manifestation of Greed and immorality.
99% of the poor are not corrupt.
The problem with India is It is OK to be corrupt and this thought process is becoming mainstream now.
It must stopped.

I fully agree with you. It has nothing to do with poverty. It is the greed and the ability to get away from punishment because of a toothless judicial system. Otherwise, how so many DPA cases against politicians were closed and they escaped e.g. Mulayam and Mayawati.
