If a son do something wrong father can rectify him for the welfare of the family. You check what was the turn over of Tata group when Mr. Ratan Tata took over the helm of Tata group and when he left as Chairman of Tata Group(from Rs. 10000 crores it rose to USD 100 billion) that is the proof of his capability.
TATA group as a whole, in the most respected not only in India but also several Foreign Countries. If it was necessary for Ratan Tata, to change the Guard, well its Tata's internal affair. But the whole world is wondering if it should have been in such a manner? If Cyrus Mistry & Ratan Tata fight it out in the open, it is the TATA Group which will be at a great loss. Rata Tata should have thought of the prestige and reputation of Tata Group as a whole. This is what everyone fels.
