THE BJP FIRST LET HIM RUN AWAY FROM THE COUNTRY AND NOW TALKING TOUGH JUST TO FOOL THE PEOPLE.
Yes, definitely he should be, so also the top lenders like Essar group, Ambanis (both)where a forensic audit should be conducted as to availability of assets, utilisation / mis-utilisation of funds; the infra-companies specially from erstwhile AP with political links who joined enbloc in the road projects to milk super profits by over-invoicing and keeping then Delhi powers in good-humour. There is no room for road projects to fail except by over-milking(all such Cos. are politicians based/ backed)resulting in inferior quality and huge over-pricing. Now none of the big-defaulters have any surplus or assets to sell and repay. All the 8 lakh crore of bad debts to be written off. So also agricultural loans where a farmer with one-acre land was given loans upto 50.0 lakhs to boost agri-finance and meet targets. Not a single paisa can be recovered, yet these loans are not being treated as NPAs on one pretext or the other. The amount involved works out to 10-15% of total lending - about 8-10 lakh crore, by all Banks put together. Here also for political survival, Govt. can not take any precipitate action.
FM and PM should drag him to India and recover the part of money by seizing and auctioning his properties and first of all give the due amount to the dying staff of his locked company. The action should be like this.

Joke of the Century -- When the man is IN is waited to go OUT. What about Lalit Modi -- When his wife was not well the Minister helps him out for a gala evening on HUMANITARIAN ground - This is our state of affairs of Govt. --On top PM says we will govt them back - On the whole the poor people of India are looser. This people meet out of the country have a blast,,.., We are fools.
Mr. Finance Minister time for all words and no action is over. I still agree with the Mumbai Lady, who went to prison to prove a point.Do not be like the NDA Government. Have the guts to take action or leave the office honorably.

THE MODI GOVT. IS ALL ABOUT FOOLING PEOPLE FROM DAY ONE, AND GIVE FALSE PROMISES, AND DO NOTHING TO HELP THE COMMON MAN. MANUFACTURING IS LOW, COST OF FOOD ITEMS RISING EVERY DAY, THE P.M. AND F.M. HAS NO TIME, BECAUSE HE IS EITHER OUT OF INDIA ON TOUR OR IS GIVING MORE ELECTION SPEECHES, AND MORE FALSE PROMISES.

NOW A DAYS THE GOVT IS MORE BUSY IN HORSE TRADING AND CREATING REBELS, BY TRAPPING LEGITIMATELY ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE. THIS IS CALLED ACCHE DIN AS PER THEIR DEFINITION.
Why is our FM being so lenient to the grand wilful defaulter who slipped out of country when our Banks and other lending institutions woke up.Now that everything is clear that he will not come on his own,why can't our govt.declare him a criminal and secure his arrest thru interpol.Let action of govt. not be lethargic and act upon swiftly.
Properties of this looter and his entire relatives should be confiscated forthwith. He deserve no mercy. He has looted nation's wealth and that too of the poor tax payers.
